The gorgeous Marina town of Nocera Scala sits on a beautiful expanse of beach next to the sparkling blue Tyrrhenian Sea. It has its own population of over 1000 habitants and has undergone significant regeneration in 2008 with a brand new promenade and Amphitheatre. This smart little village is incredibly popular in the summer months with Italians on vacation.
Acting as an excellent base from which to explore the local area, the popular resort of Amantea lays just a short 10-minute drive to the North and the ever-popular iconic towns of Tropea and Pizzo are a short 40 minute drive to the south. Nocera is peppered with pizzerias and tavernas and a brand new five star hotel makes Nocera the perfect beach getaway.
Typically for the region, Nocera Scala has an associated hilltop town - Nocera Terinese which is a small village with a population of just over 4700 inhabitants just 5km away.
